Eight Dimensions of Wellness

(for women, mothers, and families rebuilding their lives):

A circular infographic titled 'Eight Dimensions of Wellness' from the COGO Program Framework. It features eight segments labeled Physical, Emotional, Financial, Environmental, Occupational, Intellectual, Spiritual, and Social, each in different colors.

Emotional Recovery – Learning healthy ways to handle stress, grief, triggers, and feelings; building confidence, self-worth, and hope.

Social Recovery – Rebuilding relationships and creating positive support; learning communication, boundaries, and healthy connection.

Intellectual Recovery – Learning and growth through education, life skills, parenting support, workshops, and personal development.

Environmental Recovery – Creating a safe, calm space at home and in the community; building routines and surroundings that support healing and stability.

Physical Recovery – Caring for the body through rest, nutrition, movement, and routine; supporting healthy habits that help people feel stronger each day.

Spiritual Recovery – Finding purpose, faith, meaning, and inner peace; connecting to what keeps you grounded (prayer, meditation, nature, community, values).

Occupational/Vocational Recovery – Building job readiness, career goals, training, and stability; helping families move toward long-term independence.

Financial Recovery – Budgeting, saving, managing bills, improving credit, and planning for stability; learning how to move from survival to security.

Community of Grace Organization (COGO) brings the Eight Dimensions of Wellness to life through non-clinical, community-based experiences—creative expression, supportive gatherings, and partner-led activities that help women, young women (16–24), mothers, and families build confidence, connection, and stability.

Impact Snapshot: 50+ women participated in our PhotoVoice/Voices of Recovery exhibit experience—strengthening multiple dimensions of wellness through creativity, reflection, and community connection.
